The RWC in New Zealand

I believe that the RWC tournament will benefit New Zealand because all the money will help to re-build Christchurch. It will also help with the community.

Even though people will buy drinks and might get drunk, it will sort of be good because they are giving their money to businesses.

I hope that New Zealand wins because the last time they won was in 1987. Keep your eye on the ball NZ!

How will the Rugby World Cup Benefit New Zealand Economically and/or socially?

I think that the Rugby World Cup will benefit New Zealand............

ECONOMICALLY- As we will be getting quite a lot of money from the Rugby World Cup tickets and merchandise, that can be used for many things. For example, the money given or funded by people can be used towards children's schools, to get things that they need like, Better or bigger building/ Class rooms.

Also it can be used to get better learning tools for New Zealand kids to have better educations. Though it is not just the Children that need the help and the money, the people in Christchurch need it as well, and we all know why that is!!! So I hope that the government and the rest of the important people that are thinking of what to do for New Zealand and its future after think about what I have previously said.

Mice

This Mouse is a big mouse. It can eat bird seed and some ham and dog biscuits and a little of apple. A mother mouse nibble little bits of paper. The Mother mouse can have 1 baby at a time. The mice can drink from the mother mouse.

There's A Boy Under My Bed

There was a boy who came threw this trap door and ended up under some ones bed. He ended up in a alien's house.
The alien's name was Jelltin and he was scared of the little boy. Jelltin was scared so he went to go and get his mum.
His mum had a broom and poked the little boy and ouch said the little boy. Jelltin said how did you end up here.
It's a long story.

A few days latter they were best friends.
They were eating together playing too. But Jelltins friend had to go home and when he went Jelltins mum blocked him from coming back.

This week the kiwis have been working on a story called Giving It a Shot. This was written David Tulloch. This is my story web.

I Am Making Movies 2 Competition

Last week on Sunday some kids represented our school by entering the I am making movies 2, and they went down to the Museum for the Awards. I went with them because my mum was a part of representing our school.

As soon as we arrived at the Museum we went straight inside because it was raining and cold. A few minutes later we were getting ready to go into the elevators but there was a huge line so we had to wait a while. Not long after we were in the big room where the awards were, we were sitting on our chairs waiting for the it to start.

Just to let you know the hosts were Charlie of What Now and Sheryl of Outrageous Fortune. Anyway as soon as our school saw their movies they were happy because they won lots of the categories. When I saw their movies I was amazed because I thought that they were awesome compared to the other school’s one’s.

In the end my mum’s class won the SUPREME award so they received a digital video camera. I am so lucky that my mum took me because me and two other kids got to take a picture with Sheryl and Charlie.

In our maths group our teacher Miss Garden did a poster just like this one, but with equal addition. It was to help us how to do it. I did the same but with Compensation, making it fair.

It is one of the maths strategies we know how to use.

My reading group, the kiwis, have been reading a story called "Giving it a Shot". It is about a girl named Lauren who is not a very talented girl, until a stupid sports day makes her realize that she is actually very good at shot put.
